Pashupati Kumar Paras join the opposition Rastriya Janta Dal and contest the upcoming lok sabha election 2024 from Hajipur from where he is sitting mp.

Pashupati Kumar Paras is an Indian politician affiliated with the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), which was founded by his late brother, Ram Vilas Paswan. He has been a prominent political figure in Bihar and has served in various capacities over the years, including as a Member of Parliament (MP). 

His career has been marked by his involvement in Bihar's political landscape, often focusing on issues related to the development and welfare of the state.In June 2021, following a family rift within the LJP after the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, Pashupati Kumar Paras was recognized as the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha by a faction of the party members.

 

This led to a split in the LJP, with one faction led by Chirag Paswan, Ram Vilas Paswan's son, and the other by Pashupati Kumar Paras.
