West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's health condition is stable, a senior official of the state Administrative said on Friday.
The sixty nine years old mamata banerjee, who suffered a major injury on her forehead and nose during a fall inside her kalighat residence in south Kolkata on Thursday evening.
Mamata Banerjee is an influential Indian politician and the Chief Minister of West Bengal, a position she has held since 2011. She is the founder and leader of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC or TMC), a party she established in 1998 after separating from the Indian National Congress. Banerjee is the first woman to hold the office of Chief Minister in West Bengal Known for her grassroots-level politics and populist measures, she has played a significant role in Indian politics, particularly in West Bengal, where she ended the 34-year rule of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in the state in 2011.
