world water day 2024 : we want to know about importance of world water day

World Water Day is observed annually on March 22nd. 

 This international day is a commitment to raising awareness about the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. Initiated by the United Nations in 1993, World Water Day aims to highlight the need for access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities for all, addressing global water issues such as water scarcity, water pollution, and inadequate water supply.

Key objective of world water day :-

Raise Awareness: 
Increase awareness about the critical role of water in our lives, the importance of conserving and managing freshwater resources sustainably, and the urgent need to address water-related issues.

Support Sustainable Access:

Semiconductor manufacturing plant will plass Assam on global map by ratan tata

The tata group will set up a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Assam jagiroad with an investment of 27,000 crore.

Assam chief minister himanta biswa sarma on Wednesday met tata sons emeritus chairman ratan tata and chairman N chandrasekaran in Mumbai and thanked them for setting up the 27,000 crore rupees tata semiconductor facility in Assam.

Ratan Tata is a prominent Indian industrialist and the former chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, one of India's largest and oldest conglomerates. He was born on December 28, 1937, in Bombay, British India (now Mumbai, India).

 Ratan Tata is part of the Tata family, a prominent family involved in Indian business and industry.Under his leadership, which spanned from 1991 to 2012, the Tata Group reached new heights and expanded its global footprint. Ratan Tata is credited with the acquisition of several international companies, including Tetley, Corus, and Jaguar Land Rover, which helped transform Tata from a largely India-centric group into a global business conglomerate. 


Apart from his business achievements, Ratan Tata is known for his philanthropic efforts. The Tata Trusts, of which he is a leading trustee, are among the oldest and most significant philanthropic organizations in India, focusing on areas such as education, health, and rural development.Ratan Tata has received several high-profile awards and honors both in India and internationally for his contributions to industry and society. Even after retiring, he remains highly influential in the business world and continues to be involved in various philanthropic activities.
